A full-length painting of a woman in elaborate robes holding a branch, with extensive calligraphy
This vertical painting depicts a full-length figure of a woman standing against a plain, light tan background. The woman is positioned slightly to the left of center, facing towards the right with her head turned to look in that direction. She has dark hair styled in a high bun, adorned with red ribbons and a gold-colored ornament. Her face is pale with light red lips. She wears a long, flowing robe, predominantly off-white or cream, featuring a subtle pattern of small, light dots. Beneath her outer robe, a darker garment with a pattern of blue and white leaves or flowers is visible. Her right hand, crossed over her chest, holds a slender branch with green leaves and small blue flowers. Long, light blue and red sashes or ribbons trail from her waist and sleeves, extending downwards and to the left in graceful, swirling forms. Her feet are not visible, obscured by the voluminous fabric. To the right and left of the woman, and above her, are columns of black calligraphy. The calligraphy on the upper right is larger and more prominent, accompanied by several red square seals. Smaller columns of calligraphy and additional red seals are present along the far left edge of the painting.
