Three painted faces with elaborate blue and white headwear on a damaged, earthy-toned fresco fragment
A rectangular fresco fragment, heavily damaged, displays parts of three painted human faces against an earthy, light brown background. The fragment is oriented horizontally. On the far left, a face with light skin, red lips, and dark eyes looks forward, slightly tilted right. It wears an elaborate blue and white headdress, possibly a bun or topknot, with some green details around it. In the center, another face with similar features also looks forward, slightly tilted left. This figure has a more ornate headdress or crown with blue, white, and red dot patterns. Much of the area below this central face is missing. On the far right, a face in profile looks left. It has light skin, a dark eye, and a defined eyebrow, wearing a blue cap or headdress adorned with a white floral or star-like ornament on top, outlined in green. Significant portions of the painted surface are missing across the fragment, revealing the rough, underlying material, and several cracks are visible throughout the piece. The overall color palette includes earthy browns, blues, whites, greens, and reds for facial features and adornments.
