Two gilded panels depict a woman and child with other figures on the left, and a crucifixion scene on the right
The artwork consists of two vertical, rectangular panels, each set within an elaborate, pointed arch frame of carved and gilded wood. A golden pinecone finial tops each arch. The background of both main scenes is gold. The left panel features a woman and child enthroned with other figures. In the center, a woman in a dark blue robe sits on a red patterned rug, holding a child dressed in a pink garment. To her left stands a bearded man in a light brown tunic and red cloak, holding a staff. To her right stands a man in a yellow robe, also holding a staff. Above the central figures, two smaller, haloed figures in light robes are visible. At the very top of the arch, a small circular medallion contains a bust of a figure. The right panel depicts a crucifixion scene. A figure with a green-tinged body and a white loincloth is nailed to a dark brown cross. Above the figure's head, a white plaque bears the red letters "INRI". To the left of the cross, a woman in a dark blue robe stands, looking downwards. To the right, a man in a light-colored robe stands, looking up at the crucified figure. Below the cross, a figure in a red robe kneels on a rocky, green and brown ground, gazing upwards. At the very top of this arch, a small circular medallion contains a bust of a figure.
