Two small birds on rocky ground beneath dark bamboo branches against a light brown background
The painting features two small birds and bamboo branches against a light brown background. In the upper left and extending towards the center, several dark, slender bamboo branches with long, narrow leaves are depicted. Some small white dots are scattered on the bamboo leaves and branches. Below the bamboo, two small, light-colored birds with darker wings and tails are positioned on uneven, rocky ground. The bird on the left stands upright, facing right, with its head slightly raised and beak open. Its body is mostly light brown and white, with darker grey-brown markings on its wings and tail. The bird on the right is positioned lower and faces left, with its head tilted downwards towards the ground. Its plumage is similar to the first bird, with light brown and white tones and darker markings. The rocky ground beneath the birds is rendered in shades of grey and brown, with angular forms. A small, square red seal is visible in the lower left corner of the artwork.
