A red artwork with a large central stupa surrounded by many smaller stupas and figures
This vertically oriented, rectangular artwork is dominated by shades of red, black, and gold. At the center, a large, ornate stupa-like structure rises. It has a domed base and a tiered conical spire, decorated with gold and black patterns. Within the dome of this central structure, a multi-armed figure with a light complexion sits on a throne, flanked by two smaller figures. Above the central stupa, a triangular arrangement of smaller stupas and figures leads towards the top edge. The entire composition is structured as a grid of rectangular compartments, with a deep red background. Around the central stupa, and extending to the edges of the artwork, are numerous smaller compartments. Many of these contain miniature stupas, depicted in white, gold, and black, arranged in rows and columns. Other compartments contain individual figures, often seated or standing, with varying complexions (red, white, green, black) and sometimes multiple arms or heads. These figures are typically framed by arched niches. Along the top edge, a row of larger compartments features seated figures. Along the bottom edge, a horizontal band contains many small, seated figures, possibly a congregation, with some faint, illegible text beneath them.
