An intricate, colorful mandala with a central multi-armed figure surrounded by concentric bands of smaller figures
This vertical rectangular artwork features a complex, multi-layered mandala design, predominantly in shades of red, dark blue, and green, with accents of yellow, white, and light blue. The central element is a square, within which a multi-armed, multi-headed figure with red skin is seated on a lotus-like throne. This central figure is flanked by smaller figures and surrounded by a green inner square. This green square is bordered by a red band containing additional smaller figures in various poses. Moving outwards, the central square is encircled by several concentric bands. Immediately surrounding the red border is a dark blue band with intricate red and green patterns. This is followed by a wider, lighter blue band featuring eight circular medallions, each containing a dynamic figure in a swirling or dancing pose. Between these medallions are smaller, stylized floral or cloud-like motifs. Another band of colorful, segmented arcs, alternating in shades of red, yellow, and blue, encircles this wider blue band. The entire mandala structure is framed by a dark, narrow border. Along the top edge, above the main circular design, is a horizontal band containing eight circular medallions, each depicting a seated figure. The bottom edge features a horizontal red band with multiple groups of seated figures engaged in various activities. Two small, white, conical structures, resembling stupas, are also visible on this bottom band. A line of small, light-colored text is visible just above the bottom red band.
