A still life with fruit, a green bottle, and a red flower on a white cloth
A still life is arranged on a yellow-orange surface against a dark, muted blue-gray background. A white cloth with prominent folds covers the left and center of the yellow-orange surface, extending towards the right. On the left side of the cloth, a cluster of five or six fruits, mostly pear-shaped, are arranged. Their skins show mottled shades of orange, red, and green, with one fruit on the bottom left being distinctly green. To the right of this fruit cluster, a single red-orange flower, resembling a chrysanthemum with numerous petals, lies on the white cloth, its green stem visible. Further to the right, two more fruits, similar in shape and color to the main cluster, rest on the cloth. Behind the fruit and cloth, a tall, slender green bottle with a wide base and narrow neck stands slightly to the right of the painting's center. The dark blue-gray background wall features two light-colored, stylized, elongated shapes that resemble birds or leaves. One is positioned on the upper left, curving upwards, and the other on the upper right, curving downwards.
