A black and white ink painting of a mountainous landscape with trees, buildings, water, and figures
This vertical black and white ink wash painting portrays a vast mountainous landscape. In the upper section, towering mountains dominate the background, their peaks partially obscured by a soft, misty haze. Several thin waterfalls cascade down the steep rock faces. The mid-ground features a valley where a winding river or stream flows, its banks lined with numerous dark, dense trees, primarily appearing as pines with their characteristic needle-like foliage. Scattered throughout this forested valley are several small buildings with dark roofs, situated among the trees on both sides of the water. In the lower section, more prominent trees with dark trunks and full canopies are visible. A small, arched bridge crosses a narrow section of the water on the lower left. On the lower right, a larger, open-fronted building contains two small, seated figures. The foreground features rocky terrain and smaller trees. Small, vertical calligraphy is visible in the upper right corner.
