Large dark mountain slopes to a village by water, smaller mountains in background
The artwork is a vertical painting with a light, warm beige background. A large, dark green mountain occupies the right side of the composition, its peak extending towards the top right corner. The mountain slopes steeply downwards to the bottom center, where its base meets a body of water. The dark green color of the mountain is textured, with lighter green and some darker specks visible. To the left of the large mountain, in the middle ground, are several smaller, rounded mountains rendered in a lighter, warm brown hue. These mountains appear to recede into the distance towards the left edge of the painting. Along the base of the large mountain and extending along the edge of the body of water, which occupies the lower left portion of the painting, is a village. The village comprises numerous small structures, each with a distinct reddish-brown, conical or rounded roof and lighter, possibly white or beige, walls. These structures are clustered closely together, appearing to line the water's edge and extending further into the background on the left side. In the foreground, near the bottom center, are several short, dark green brushstrokes, suggesting foliage or reeds. In the bottom right corner, a red square seal is visible, containing indistinct black characters. Above this seal, a few faint, vertical black characters are present.
