A dark-winged swallow with a reddish head flies past dark leaves against a misty gray background
A single bird in flight is positioned slightly right of the central axis. The bird has a dark blue-black back and wings, a white belly, and a reddish-orange head and throat. Its wings are extended, with the left wing angled upwards and the right wing angled downwards. Its tail feathers are long and forked. To the left of the bird, a cluster of dark, reddish-brown leaves hangs, extending from the upper left corner downwards towards the middle left. The leaves are distinctly lobed. Below these leaves, a small, light green or white object, possibly a berry or flower, is visible. The background is a soft, light gray, with subtle variations in tone that suggest a misty or cloudy atmosphere. Faint, darker gray brushstrokes or washes create a sense of depth behind the leaves and the bird. A small, red, rectangular mark is visible in the lower left quadrant, beneath the leaves.
