Painting of various potted plants and decorative rocks arranged on a dark, gnarled display stand
A painting depicts an arrangement of several potted plants and decorative rocks on a dark, irregular display stand against a plain, light background. The stand, resembling a gnarled tree trunk or rock formation, has a flat top surface and extends downwards and to the left, with a textured, dark brown and black appearance. On the upper surface, from left to right, are three pots. The leftmost is a round, red pot with white decorative patterns, containing a small green plant with delicate leaves and a textured brown rock. Next to it is a smaller, yellow, cylindrical pot holding a sparse green plant. To the right, a rectangular white pot with black and gold scrollwork patterns contains a dense cluster of tall, thin green plants. Below the upper surface, on the lower left side of the stand, an oval, dark green pot with small feet holds a green plant with many small, branching leaves. Behind it, two white pots, one with a mountain-like design, contain sparse green plants with thicker, lighter green stems. In the lower right corner of the painting, black calligraphic characters are visible above a red square seal.
