A vertical scroll painting shows a potted fungus-like plant, black calligraphy, and red seals
A tall, vertical scroll painting displays a central composition on a light beige background, framed by a gold-colored border with a subtle patterned design at the top and bottom. In the lower half of the central beige panel, a potted plant features several mushroom-like forms with broad, undulating caps in shades of light brown and beige, supported by dark, gnarled stems. These stems emerge from a light gray or off-white rectangular pot. The pot has a slightly wider rim and four small, rounded feet. Its visible sides are densely covered with numerous small, square red seals, arranged in an irregular grid pattern. Above the plant, in the upper right quadrant of the beige panel, a column of vertical black ink calligraphy is present. Below this text, two distinct red square seals are visible. The upper portion of the beige panel above the calligraphy and the lower portion below the pot are left blank.
