A horizontal manuscript fragment with black text and four framed illustrations of figures and shapes
A long, horizontal, light brown manuscript fragment, possibly made of palm leaf, features black text and four distinct, red-framed illustrations. The fragment has an irregular, broken edge on its left side. The black text, in an ancient script, is arranged in multiple horizontal lines across the entire surface, interspersed with the illustrations. From left to right, the first illustration is a rectangular panel with a red background. It depicts a light-skinned figure with a golden headdress and multiple arms, seated or kneeling and facing towards the right. The figure holds various indistinct objects. Following a section of text, a circular hole pierces the manuscript. To its right is the second illustration, a red rectangular panel containing an arched red frame. Within this frame, a light-skinned figure with a golden headdress and multiple arms is seated, facing directly forward. This figure also holds several indistinct objects. Another section of text and a second circular hole precede the third illustration. This panel is nearly identical to the second, featuring a light-skinned, multi-armed figure with a golden headdress, seated facing forward within an arched red frame on a red background. The fourth and final illustration, located towards the right end of the fragment, is a red rectangular panel. It displays two abstract, curved shapes. The left shape is blue-gray, curving upwards and to the right. The right shape is white, also curving upwards and to the right, resembling a stylized animal or wave. More black text fills the remaining space to the right of this final illustration.
