Four-panel screen painting of flowering plants: white blossoms, blue-gray flowers, and bamboo
The artwork is a four-panel folding screen, presented horizontally. The background of all panels is a muted, warm gold color. The painting depicts a variety of plants and flowers, rendered with a combination of ink wash, opaque white, and subtle colors. On the far left panel, a dark brown, gnarled tree trunk rises from the bottom, branching upwards. Numerous small, round white blossoms with faint yellow centers cluster along its branches. Below this tree, smaller reddish-pink flowers with green leaves are visible. The second panel from the left features a cluster of blue-gray, somewhat spherical flowers with dark green leaves in the lower-center. To their right, a group of smaller, reddish-pink flowers with distinct petals and green foliage is depicted. The third panel showcases large, bell-shaped white flowers with prominent stamens, arranged on a vine with dark green, heart-shaped leaves that trail downwards and to the right. The fourth and final panel on the far right features tall, slender bamboo stalks with delicate green leaves extending upwards from the bottom right corner. The bamboo is rendered in varying shades of dark gray and black ink. A small, red, rectangular seal mark is visible near the base of the bamboo in the lower right quadrant of this panel.
