Blue-green leaves, an orange-brown flower, small white blossoms, and black calligraphy on a light background
The artwork is a horizontal rectangular painting on a light-colored background, framed by a narrow, light brown border. The composition features a cluster of plants with long, slender leaves and two distinct types of flowers, arranged across the lower and central portions of the image. The leaves are painted in varying shades of blue-green and dark gray, with some appearing lighter and others darker. They are long and narrow, curving gently upwards and outwards from a central point near the bottom left. On the right side, emerging from the cluster of leaves, is a single flower with four prominent petals, colored in a soft orange-brown hue. Its stem is thin and extends upwards. To the left of this flower, a smaller plant stem branches upwards, bearing several small, five-petaled white flowers. These white flowers are clustered, with some appearing fully open and others as buds. Below the white flowers, nestled among the leaves, is a small, rounded object with a textured, brownish-gray surface, possibly a bulb or a seed pod. The upper left portion of the painting contains several vertical lines of black calligraphy, written in a flowing script. Below the calligraphy, in the bottom left corner, are two red seal impressions: a smaller square one above a larger rectangular one. Another smaller, square red seal impression is visible in the upper right corner, partially obscured by the calligraphy.
