A light-colored bird perches on snow-covered branches with red and white flowers
A vertical scroll depicts a bird and flowering branches covered in snow against a light tan background. In the upper right quadrant, a light-colored bird, predominantly white with a yellow head and neck, is perched on a snow-laden branch. Its head is tilted upwards and slightly to the left, with its beak slightly open. The branches, dark and gnarled, are heavily coated in white snow, creating thick, irregular patches. These branches extend diagonally across the composition from the upper right, curving downwards, and also from the lower right, reaching upwards. Scattered along the upper and middle sections of the snow-covered branches are numerous small white flowers, some with faint pink centers, resembling blossoms. Further down and more prominently displayed are larger, vibrant red flowers, possibly camellias or peonies, each with distinct green leaves. These red flowers also bear patches of white snow on their petals. The snow is depicted not only as thick coverings on the branches and flowers but also as small, sparkling white dots, particularly visible in the lower half of the scroll, suggesting a glistening or falling effect. In the upper left portion of the scroll, there is a column of dark vertical text, followed by two square red seals. The central depicted area is bordered on the left and right by a light gray, textured fabric, and at the very top and bottom by a decorative band of dark gold and brown with a repeating pattern.
