A vertical scroll painting with white orchids, green leaves, dark calligraphy, and red seals
The image presents a vertical scroll painting. The central rectangular panel is a light, warm beige color. In the lower left quadrant, a cluster of white orchids with subtle pinkish-purple centers is depicted. The orchids grow from a group of long, slender, dark green leaves that extend upwards and diagonally across the lower half of the panel. Some leaves curve gently, while others are more upright. One particularly long leaf stretches diagonally from the lower left towards the upper right, almost reaching the top border of the central panel. Below the orchids and leaves, slightly to the right of the center, a vertical column of dark calligraphic characters is visible, followed by two stacked square red seals. The central beige panel is surrounded by decorative fabric borders. The top and bottom edges of the central panel are flanked by narrow bands of dark fabric adorned with a repeating gold foliage pattern. Beyond these narrow bands, and along the entire left and right sides of the central panel, are wider borders of a muted teal-green fabric. This wider border features a repeating pattern of stylized circular floral motifs in a slightly darker shade of teal-green.
