Two bamboo branches with leaves, calligraphic text, and red seals on light paper
A horizontal ink painting on light, off-white paper has a slightly textured appearance. Two clusters of bamboo branches and leaves, rendered in black ink with varying brushstrokes, dominate the central and right portions of the composition. The upper cluster, positioned towards the top right, shows several thin branches extending diagonally downwards and to the left, adorned with numerous pointed leaves. The leaves are depicted with quick, sharp brushstrokes. Below this, a second, slightly smaller cluster of bamboo branches and leaves emerges from the lower left, extending upwards and to the right. This cluster also features thin branches and pointed leaves, similar in style to the upper one, but with a slightly different orientation. The ink ranges from deep black to lighter grey tones. On the far left side of the paper, a vertical column of black calligraphic text is present, starting near the top and extending downwards. Below this text, a red seal in the shape of a double gourd is visible, containing characters. Further down the left edge, several smaller, rectangular red seals are stamped vertically. On the far right side, another vertical column of black calligraphic text is visible near the top, followed by two square red seals stacked vertically below it. The dark ink contrasts against the light background.
