White, pink, and reddish-orange peonies with green leaves on a light background
This vertical painting depicts a cluster of peonies and foliage against a plain, light beige background. The main floral arrangement occupies the lower right and central portions of the composition, extending upwards and slightly to the left. At the top right, a red circular seal with black characters is visible. The largest flowers are at the top center, depicted in white with subtle gray shading, their petals appearing full and layered. Below these, to the left, are several light pink peonies, also with multiple petals and delicate shading. Further to the right and slightly below the pink flowers, a group of reddish-orange peonies is present. Throughout the composition, dark green leaves with varying shades of gray and brown are interspersed among the blossoms. Some slender, dark green stems and leaves extend downwards from the main cluster towards the bottom edge. The painted area is bordered by narrow gold-colored strips at its top and bottom edges, and framed by a wide, patterned border of teal fabric with gold-colored motifs.
