Two hanging scrolls show birds among flowering branches and leaves on a light background
Two vertical hanging scrolls are shown side-by-side. Each scroll features a painting on a light cream-colored panel, framed by a gold-patterned border, with a solid grey fabric section at the top and bottom. The scrolls are suspended by thin, light-colored ribbons with gold-fringed ends, attached to a metal hanger at the very top. The left scroll shows a composition of plants and birds. In the upper left, slender green branches with small clusters of light pink flowers extend downwards. A small bird with a dark head, white belly, and dark wings is perched on a branch in the upper right. Towards the bottom left, large, lobed green leaves and several white flowers with pink centers appear. Another small bird, similar in appearance, is partially visible beneath these leaves. A small red square seal is present in the lower left. The right scroll presents a different botanical arrangement. A vine-like plant with numerous green leaves and clusters of pink roses extends from the upper right, curving downwards and to the left. A small bird, with a dark head and light body, is perched on a branch, facing downwards, in the middle left of the painting. Further down on the left, more green leaves and small white flowers with yellow centers are visible. A small red square seal is present in the lower right. Both paintings feature a delicate brushwork style with soft colors.
